Worship Ministry

Purpose

The primary focus of the CrossWinds Worship Ministry is to the believers serving in the ministry. This results in an effective ministry to the overall church body through worship.

While talent is important, our main priorities are individuals relationship with Christ and personal character.

CROSSWINDS WORSHIP MINISTRY

It is a strong belief that artists and creative people have special needs which can only be met effectively through others who have similar needs and talents. They often also have a desire to serve and use their talents in the service of God. We believe this desire is instilled in them by God. Once these people are properly ministered to, they, in turn, are much more capable of having an effective ministry to others in a worship setting.

Sunday Morning Worship Team
We encourage those who are interested in serving on our worship team, (either as a vocalist or instrumentalist) to let us know. Additionally, we have a number of Worship Teams providing places to serve in our church and community.

Solo Special Music
Special Music vocalists and instrumentalists are used from time to time in our Worship Services. We subscribe to the concept that Special Music is just that, special! Consequently, it is not employed every week in every service, but rather, on the occasion that someone has something special to share.

Choir
The CrossWinds Choir meets for rehearsal at 4:30 pm on Sunday afternoons and ministers during the Sunday morning Worship Services. Occasional seasonal mixed Choirs are formed. For more information contact: Dennis Fast (909) 242-2766.

Ushers
Ushers are an extremely important part of the Worship Service. Ushers are present to help Worshippers with questions, directions, and seating. Additionally, Ushers serve us by helping during our time of Worship through giving.

We ask for a once-per-month, one service commitment, serving in the Worship Service of your choice (1st or 2nd).
