“ Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Mark 10:14

Nursery Ministry

Welcome

We are here to provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment for your child to play and learn about God’s love, while also allowing our parents to worship freely without distraction

About Our Nursery

Currently we have 2 nursery rooms:
Infant (0—walking)
Toddler (walking—2 years)

The nursery is lead by our Nursery Director. We also have weekly coordinators who rotate to operate the nursery one week a month. The coordinator will open the nursery at 8:50 a.m., and will be in the reception area to greet parents and assist with the little ones. You are always welcome to stay with your child in the nursery. We have a private room for nursing mothers. Also the service can be heard in both of our nursery rooms. A snack of cookies/crackers and juice is usually provided for the toddlers. Please let us know if you object to this or if your child has any allergies. Infants who are old enough are also given crackers.

What you need to know!

There is an information card for you to fill out on your child’s initial visit. This card will be kept on file in the nursery for the worker’s benefit in caring for your child. Little ones grow and change so quickly so please try to update these cards as needed. When signing your child into our nursery, initial next to your child’s name on the sign in sheet, if your child’s name is not pre-printed please write it in an available space. There is also room for you to leave any special needs for the day. Your child will have a name tag pinned to his/her back and you will receive two numbered tags. One should be attached to the diaper bag, and the other goes with the parent. If we need to contact you during the service your child’s number will appear in the paging box that is mounted from the ceiling in front of the sanctuary. When you pick up your child you must return the tag.

How you can help!

  • We ask that you label all bottles and pacifiers either at home or with the tape at the reception desk.
  • We ask that you be considerate of the other children. If your child is sick, please do not expose the others to their illness.
  • Please pick up your child as soon as service has ended. Remember only those with a tag can pick up your child. If you wish to send someone else to get your child, just send the tag with him or her.
